There are many passenger vessels on the River Thames but none rival our fleet of heritage river boats. Each with a rich history and a unique character, our boats provide a stylish, private and exclusive venue for your event.
Built in Great Yarmouth by Fellows & Co and launched in 1928 as a passenger boat, she started life in Scarborough and Bridlington before being requisitioned by the Royal Navy as a Coastal Defence Patrol Vessel on the east coast during the second world war. In 2022 she became the National Historic Ships 'Flagship of the Year'.
Our very own Little Ship of Dunkirk, The Devon Belle was launched in 1938 at the Ferris & Blank yard in Dartmouth as a passenger boat on the River Dart. In 1940 she took part in Operation Dynamo, as one of the brave little boats that rescued countless allied troops from the beaches of Dunkirk. She remained enlisted by the Admiralty throughout the war operating as a launch and participating in the D-Day landings.
