Bookings Coordiniator

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic bookings and admin team member to join the River Boat Company as we expand and grow.

A friendly and efficient approach to customer service is vital for this job as ideally is a good knowledge of the Thames. We will train you on our systems, you will be using a CRM platform and the telephone so need to be comfortable with both technology and engaging on the phone.

We will also train you and guide you about our boarding points on the river, ideally you will have some experience of either hospitality on the river and/or the geography involved including towns, villages and locks.

As part of this position you will be responsible for planning and scheduling including placing orders with suppliers for drink supplies and liaising with the boat crews as to party set up and requirements for bookings.

Requirements:

A great telephone manner

Knowledge of Hubspot or similar CRM system

Organisation skills

The ability to work remotely and travel by your own transport to a boarding point if required

A passion for boats/the river

Desirable:

Experience in hospitality

This is a part time remote position although you must be able to easily reach our boarding points focused around Windsor - Goring. There is the opportunity to combine this position with a roll on the boat as front of house/bar for increased hours in the season.

The River Boat Company offer heritage passenger boat charter on the Thames. Our vessels are well fitted out and our service is premium but friendly, our guests are on the river to enjoy themselves. We have an ethos of yes and try hard to accommodate guests request. We have an expanding fleet and enquires are growing significantly, we would expect opportunities within the business to grow as more vessels are brought in to service.
